These are perhaps the most frequently failing heaters, and after analysing the situation we can often offer a version that significantly extends service life compared with the original.
Why hand production matters
A large share of the cartridge heaters on the market are the product of a fully automated process – fast and cheap, but at the expense of quality. Heating is often unevenly distributed along the tube, and the power difference between two units from the same batch can reach ±20%. Such differences can be costly – problems in the work process and even equipment failure.
Our cartridge heaters are made by hand, using classic technology further refined by us for higher reliability. Hand production delivers higher quality and more:
- Shorter cold ends – a larger active heating area and lower watt densities without reducing power; especially effective when embedded in small metal parts.
- Fast production of single units and small batches – production starts immediately, with no equipment setup or calibration.
- Attention to the smallest details – we monitor every stage, which matters especially at small diameters and lengths.
- Temperature control – on request we embed a thermal sensor connected to a controller, for precise control of the surface temperature (important when processing oil-based substances).
